Sigalit Landau, an Israeli artist, decided to submerge a black gown in the Dead Sea. In 2014 she left the gown in the salt-rich water and recently removed it from the sea for display. The results are magical. The gown turned into a glittering salt crystal masterpiece.

5. For Blankenship, it's a lifelong dream realized. This has been my passion on my life and at 53 it feels good to finally do something and see it through with a patent. This time, I just said, you know ... I'm going to make this happen.
